STAR MAP

Humans have been cataloguing stars and discovering new worlds long before they even developed the technology to leave their home system of Sol.

The “stellar neighborhood” is a spherical region of space which encompasses all of the stars within 30 light years of Earth.  By the early 23rd century, this included a total of 20 systems that either supported indigenous life or were permanently established as outposts by the Human race.

This STARMAP is a visual representation of the relative location of these systems.  True distances between these stars may appear distorted on a two-dimensional map depending on where they are positioned on the galaxial plane.
